Our services

Ally Title provides title insurance, title examination, escrow, and real estate settlement services in Maryland. Quotes provided through this website are estimates based on the information you supply; final fees and premiums are determined by the specifics of your transaction, filed rates, and applicable law. Requesting a quote creates no obligation on your part and no engagement of our services until we mutually agree to handle your transaction.

Content on this site — including guides, FAQs, and resource articles — is general information about the closing process. It is not legal advice, and neither reading it nor contacting us creates an attorney-client relationship. For advice about your specific situation, consult your own attorney, tax advisor, or lender.

Affiliated businesses

Ally Title shares common ownership with Blackwell Real Estate: James Blackwell is President/CEO of Ally Title and Broker/Owner of Blackwell Real Estate. Because of that relationship, a referral between the two companies may provide a financial or other benefit to their common owner. You are never required to use Ally Title as a condition of working with Blackwell Real Estate (or vice versa). There are frequently other settlement service providers available with similar services, and you are free to shop around to determine that you are receiving the best services and the best rate for those services. In any affiliated referral, we provide the written affiliated business arrangement disclosure required by federal law (RESPA).

No guarantee

We work hard to close on time and clean, but real estate transactions depend on many parties we do not control — lenders, agents, counties, payoff holders, and the parties themselves. We do not guarantee any particular closing date, outcome, or result, and nothing on this site is a commitment to insure any particular title. Coverage under a title insurance policy is governed solely by the terms of the issued policy and its underwriter.

Acceptable use

You agree to submit accurate information, to use the site only for bona fide real estate needs, and not to scrape, copy, disrupt, or misuse the site or its content. All site content is owned by or licensed to Ally Title, LLC and may not be reproduced without permission.

Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The site is provided “as is.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties and are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of this website. Our total liability for any claim arising from use of the website will not exceed one hundred dollars ($100). This limitation applies to the website only; services we are engaged to perform for your transaction are governed by the applicable settlement documents and title insurance policy, not by this paragraph.
